Who is CHAD?

     This safety seat child identification program has been developed as the result of a traffic crash involving a 13-month old boy named
Chad. Chad was injured, but no one at the scene knew his identity. Only because an emergency room nurse recognized him could his parents be quickly located and his injuries treated. To ensure rapid identification of a child in an emergency, this sticker should be filled out and placed on the right corner (child's right) under the cushion or center back of a child's safety seat.

Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District distributes CHAD stickers to residents on request. Please contact us if you are a resident and need a sticker.
